Who we are

Listening Pine sells short Baduanjin courses and a coach membership for people who sit all day. Write to hello@listeningpine.com, or use the address in the footer if it differs.

Account

When you create an account we store your name, your email address, and the password hash used to sign you in. We use them to keep you signed in and to attach a paid course to you.

Purchases and membership

Checkout runs on Stripe. We store the order status, your membership status and billing dates, the amount and currency Stripe charged, the product, and the email on your account. We do not store card numbers. Stripe processes the card under its own terms.

Brother Stone conversations

When you ask Brother Stone a question we store your question, the answer and the date, in your account, so you can see your history and so we can apply usage limits. Your question and a few recent messages are sent to an AI model provider to write the answer: DeepSeek, through Cloudflare AI Gateway, or a Cloudflare Workers AI model if that is unavailable. We do not send your name or email. Please do not put health records or other sensitive details in your questions. You can ask us to delete your history.

Free starter

If you join the 3-day starter we store your email address, the time you signed up, and a short note of the page you came from. That note is at most 80 characters, and control characters are removed. A hidden company field is ignored and is not stored.

We keep the address so we can send the starter and news about the course. Joining the list records the address. This release does not send that mail by itself. We do not sell the list.

Cookies

Sign-in uses a session cookie. Language, and light or dark mode, are stored in a cookie or in local storage on your browser.

Sharing

Stripe receives what it needs to charge the price you are buying. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests as infrastructure, and the AI providers named above receive your coach questions. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Deletion

Email us and ask to delete your account and your starter address. We remove them unless we must keep an order record for accounting or a dispute. Card data stays with Stripe.
